Cedar is known for its lasting qualities. Cedar naturally repels water thus does not deteriorate as rapidly beneath the earth as other woods. To further the lasting effects we take pride in constructing a completely water tight cedar pet casket.

We use solid clear cedar avoiding knots where moisture could enter.
Base and Lid corners are box joints which swell with moisture making them even more water proof.
Double cedar seals are constructed between the lid and base. This type of joinery is found in fine humidors. Typically one seal is used between the base and lid, we use two.
The solid cedar bottom panel is dadoed in place, this bottom panel will also expand with moisture
